Virginia HIV/AIDS Resource and Consultation Center

The Virginia HIV/AIDS Resource and Consultation Center [PDF] is supported by the Virginia Department of Health, Division of Disease Prevention. VHARCC works with health care providers, AIDS service and community-based organizations, government agencies, professional associations, and academic and community health care providers. Our continuing mission is to expand quality care for persons living with HIV/AIDS and to focus on care and prevention through education and service. VHARCC offers multidisciplinary education programs, expanding clinical programs and consultations on HIV/AIDS-related issues. VHARCC also supports anonymous testing and counseling, offers clinical training, and research and policy development.

Currently, VHARCC’s central office is located at the VCU HIV/AIDS Center in Richmond, Va., with contractors located throughout the commonwealth in the Eastern, Northern, Northwestern and Southwestern regions.
