Virginia HIV/AIDS Resource and Consultation Center
The Virginia HIV/AIDS Resource and Consultation Center [PDF] is supported by the Virginia Department of Health, Division of Disease Prevention. The VCU HIV/AIDS Center serves as the education and training provider for the central and southwest regions of the state. VHARCC works with health care providers, AIDS service and community-based organizations, government agencies, professional associations, and academic and community health care providers within these regions. Our continuing mission is to expand quality care for persons living with HIV/AIDS and to focus on care and prevention through education and service. VHARCC offers multidisciplinary education programs, expanding clinical programs and consultations on HIV/AIDS-related issues. We also support anonymous testing and counseling, offer clinical training, and research and policy development.
